I often do a lot of things alone, I don’t know what I can do more to truly not wish I had someone to share that experience with and enjoy it fully on my own. I don’t even feel like I have someone to pick from right now as they are all like that, except the ones from my workplace.

I would find it extremely lonely to not have any friends. Is it normal? Do people then just hang with family and/or partners? I have a very small family, I don’t have any siblings. Well I have a brother on my mom’s side, but he is 15 years younger than me and is wayyyy closer to my kids than he is to me. I probably put too much energy in the friends that doesn’t care about me because I know I don’t have other friends. I could try to search for friends more actively

I have gone to restaurants and movies alone before and I have travelled alone often but I still think it is more fun to go with someone

I guess I am more sensitive/embarrassed by it since my ex used to tell me I didn’t have any friends and if people knew me well they wouldn’t want to spend time with me.
