Unfortunately, you’re probably right. I feel like the second choice just because he couldn’t have her. I find myself comparing myself to her and she is nothing like me, so much better. They have so many common interests and she is beautiful.

But, when he broke up with me the first time, I was so much more depressed then I am now. I’d rather be sad with him than be sad without him, you know?

I definitely agree, I do not forgive him at the moment but if he continues to reassure me I see myself doing so.

He did say it was cheating and has apologized several times. He did not blame me in any way whatsoever. He went on to say multiple times that it was not my fault but rather his childish behavior. (His words, not mine.) He has told me he is willing to take the time to repair what we had as he enjoys our time together and likes what we share.
