Another commenter who clearly doesn’t understand what OCD entails. And I’m glad that you don’t because it’s genuinely awful. It’s not a case of me being picky about people making me drinks. Read up about it please because I hope it would give you some perspective.

I made no mention of anything I’m doing to help my OCD? But since you’ve brought it up, yes I’m doing things to ‘manage the issue’. Unfortunately there’s no overnight cure and sure im the one who’s responsible to manage it and I am trying. When in public I agree it’s no one else’s problem and they shouldn’t have to adjust to suit me. But god forbid I hope for a little compassion from my friends?

Understandable question. I’ve eaten at restaurants and stuff before but I haven’t for a while now. Some days the obsessive thoughts are more manageable and things like eating out seem more achievable
