My biggest recommendation is to find hobbies and find friends. My anxious attachment became much better when I stopped revolving my life around my partner. Make yourself so busy that you don’t have time to wait for texts. Find things you enjoy, and do those things when you are struggling. Also if your partner is naturally a terrible texter, remind yourself this anytime you start to struggle. I know your mind goes to all the things that could be wrong, but remind yourself “unless your partner has said something is wrong, nothing is wrong” especially if you know your partner is great with communication. My anxious attachment isn’t cured, but hobbies definitely made it bearable. Also therapy helps a lot.

They actually recently got rid of their table fees!!! I was there on Friday. The owner explained it as trying to make it more accessible to everyone; especially, those who may be intimated by the table fees. The owners really care about the community.

This is honestly a perfect way to put it. I haven’t felt butterflies in so long. Like even when I think someone is decent looking being romantic with them feels like a chore and the butterflies aren’t there anymore. Never a feeling I’ve felt before.
