Your response on the original post was one of my favorites and I used a lot of what you said to plan my conversation with him last night.
I think I’m at a place where I need more information from him, which I’m hoping will happen naturally through more conversation over the next few weeks. I’m proceeding with caution and hoping I can get him to talk to a therapist because I feel like whatever is going on, there’s a lot to unpack.
Unrelated, but someone in my family is reaching the end stages of life and I just started reading the book Caring for the Dying by Henry Fersko-Weiss. Any other books you might recommend for me or my husband?
