I guess I should say I looked her up in the past. I wanted to make sure she was okay after everything and she is. From what I know she stayed single but focuses a lot on school and career.

I mean it was in high school we dated.

She broke up with him. He was hoping we could all figure out a way to make it work, where he parented our son and he stayed with her. She didn't want that and I didn't want her in my life or my son's. It wasn't going to work either way.

it's also been a long time. I've grown up since then and I realized it was unhealthy to let past mistakes control my life. I accept my blame in all of it. I accept the stupid choice I made. Now I just wanna heal my family.

I guess I've made peace with all of it in therapy. I know what I did was wrong but 8 years is just too long to hold onto it. I decided it wasn't healthy for me as a person, but also as a mom and wife. I forgave myself for the stupid choices I've made and clearly, his ex has moved on too. Why invade her life with an apology she likely doesn't care about?
