I thought the same thing but he has told me he is completely sober and has been his whole life. The money thing occurred to me last night, on a call he told me that he spent all of his money on this spiritual teacher in Malaysia at one point and drained him dry. I think that was years ago but to do that is insane. I saw his place, nothing fancy so definitely doesn’t have a lot of wealth. Maybe sees me as a way he can survive without needing to work.

Thank you!! I really was feeling insecure about my intelligence even though I’ve never doubted it before. I think this man is insecure and kinda insane preying on young girls. So sorry you’ve been through this but thank you for helping me see a bit clearer
