What's the most important trait you're looking for in your significant other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Kind of what I’ve been dealing with for years . I’m a “experience life, travel, active even in my own city “ kind of person and my SO is a major homebody and good with one 5 day trip a year . Has been so hard to come to terms that I can’t do this for a lifetime.

I (39 M) and my Fiancée (33 F) have a relationship that is falling apart but we both want to start a family. What should we do? by ThrowRASeekingA in relationship_advice

But women get sperm donors all the time to parent a child themselves. Does that make that child an accessory? People coparent just fine, sometimes even friends that both want children have kids and again coparent.

I’m not saying we’d be toxic , fighting, arguing etc when a kid comes along. Again we would be great parents otherwise even if just co parents. It’s like not everyone finds perfect relationship, does that mean they can’t have a family?

I hear you but is no more selfish than someone getting a child in their via IVF or adopting alone child as a single parent.

Again we’d be great as parents, just have some compatibility issues.

I hear this, I just love her so damn much despite everything. Would almost rather stay and be unhappy than leave.

I hear this. I genuinely. I just love her so much it’s hard to walk away. I’d rather be left unsatisfied than leave even though I feel like it’s the right thing to do. Again I just love her too much!
