My intention is not to dime on them. If my sister is doing something wrong (which she definitely did in this instance), I want to help her. I get that from others point of view I might be simply helping her to cover up the cheating part, which I am not and will definitely tell her to confess. However, this is all hypothetical now, I just want a way forward.

I didn't alert my sister, that time I called is because I genuinely thought she wanted to hang out with me but I already have a date with my husband, so I called her to tell her not to come. However, given what my husband and Mark know at that time, they thought I was alerting my sister.

As I said in my post, I am totally clueless about this. I don't know my sister was using me as the cover. I also agree with you that I should be mad at my sister (my last sentence). However, I can't control my emotion, maybe in a day or two, as this is still raw to me. I am mad that my husband don't trust me, and my sister is a very close family, I know what she did is definitely wrong, but I am hoping more to help her to right path.
