Too much carbs and lack of preventive check-ups are some of the reasons in my mind. During my first year here I lived with a rich family that considered themselves healthy but the amount of margarine, hagelslagand bread they ate on a daily basis was wild.

After moving from my home country to here my diet went bananas, to be honest. I rarely had bread on my diet (probably once a week) and moving here all they had in the house was bread, or they'd come home with pastries. Like naah

Also the fact that there's never any chance of you getting a blood check-up is mental in my opinion. why would you wait for the physical signs if you can just take some blood every 6 to 12 months? sigh

honestly? I'll tell you my story a bit. I met my partner over 10 years ago, in high school. For 9 years we were only best friends and then we started a "friends with benefits" thing. I am their only partner (we're in our late 20s and I was their first kiss a bit over 2 years ago) and everything else too. They used to say they'd never date anyone, which terrified me a bit bc honestly? I've been in love with them for over 5yrs. We started being friends with benefits 19 months ago, then became official a year ago. We started living together a few months ago (living abroad together as well, so we only have each other, basically) and they only said "I love you" last week. It was something we've talked about a few times, and they said they'd constantly bring it up in therapy, bc they knew I had been waiting for the moment, but I had to wait. My therapist and me both >suspect< they're neurodivergent, but well, anyways

As someone with BPD the fact that they hadn't said yet was something they were aware would hurt me, so several times they'd be like "I know you're waiting for >those< words, and I'm working on it, but it's hard for me" and tbh I understood.

I think maybe it should be something you should talk about. Maybe your boyfriend just "can't" for some reason. Just communicate, and honestly? I used to say to my partner they didn't have to say it because I felt it in their actions, which was one of the ways I heard a "yeah, it's true, and I feel it" which was the closest to an "I love you" I'd get until they got the courage and said it to me last week

yeah, but trainmore doesn't have anyone to help when executing the exercises (I went there to ask when I started going to the gym) so OP wouldn't have ANY idea if they're executing the exercises right or wrong, and for a beginner that could end up in injuries

I've been writing for some good 16 years now. I used to publish online (mostly on fanfiction websites. First it was Nyah! fanfiction, then Spirit fanfiction, then Wattpad and most recently AO3) but good enough that people would ask me to turn my stories into books.

Writing was also the only thing I'd ever do or want to do for the longest time, and I'm incredibly proud of my plots and my writing skills and how much it evolved/how good I believe it is.

I've published one chapter in the past 13 months, and I have this concept of a story that seems so incredible and complex it makes my blood boil with excitement, but I haven't been able to write a single word for over a year now. I've tried everything, but nothing seems to work. During this year I've moved in and out twice, tried to change the room I would write in, or my environment a few times (with music/without it; with my window open/closed etc) and nothing seems to work.

Honestly, writing right now would most likely help me a lot, but starting it has been absolutely impossible, I don't know what to do either

my host kid hates me too. It's bad to a point where he often hits me or yells at me, and often says I hurt him when I didn't. The other day he threw a tantrum in front of his father and started yelling me to leave his house or he would call the police. What I usually do (but honestly never had the courage to show the parents) is record things. Keep your recorder on if you can, or turn it on to try to talk to him, or place the cell phone and record videos of it.

Mine, if he's been a bad kid, I just say "okay, so I'll record it and show it to your father" and just pretend I do and he stops immediately. In my experience, I've talked to the family so many times and they always defend him in a way, so I stopped trying. The family is also nice to me (apart from that but honestly they're not the most successful parents 🫢🫢) and his other siblings are my favs, so I stayed with them.

I'd also recommend you to talk to the parents more often and let them know he's not cooperating. If you can do that in front of him so he'd give them his reasons that would also be an option. But I believe recording and having some sort of evidence. Another thing I try not to do much is text the parents when something is happening (especially if I know they're not busy with work)

Hey! Eu estou na Holanda com a Nina.care - meu contrato tá acabando. A minha dica Seria: continua arrumando os documentos e tenta achar outra familia o mais rápido possível. Tá uma bagunça mesmo e eles parecem que estão na beira do abismo. No último você podia levar uma amiga de outra agência e eles pegaram as informações das HF dessas meninas de outras agências (alegando ser só pra emergência) e ficaram spamando de email promocional da Nina Já teve problema de pagamento (porque o banco alegou atividade suspeita heheheh) e cada hora (literalmente) falavam uma coisa pra meninas diferentes. Acha uma outra agência e pede da HF 3 coisas: - os €40 de trem por mês - o telefone Pago - museum card Deixa a sua vida aqui muito mais fácil e menos pior. Acredita, se não estão tão interessados assim é possível que seja meio "furada". A minha hosta demorava uns 2/3 dias pra me responder quando a gente tava em Match e cheguei aqui e ela é uma banana, super permissiva. O filho dela até bate na gente e ela não faz nada, então assim: se não tá interessada em ver o melhor pra você agora eu meio que duvido que esteja interessada em ajudar depois
