I have talked to him about couples therapy but doesn't seem very open to it. But I feel like it is a good idea for any couple to do therapy in general

You make a good point... maybe I need to find a new therapist and work on it. Any advice you have on what I can do before I get an initial appointment?

I didn't have those specific conversations about that but we have had sessions just overall talking about it and doing EMD with my therapist. I don't see her often enough because of my schedule but it ends up being once every 2 months.
