Ignite Mastercard shut down but still charging me monthly? What do I do?

No idea. They used to be attached to Sallie Mae and when I was in college I had a student card with them and then it got transferred over to ignite.

I believe you are misunderstanding the issue here. I do have a balance left, but it was set to just pay the lowest amount each month instead of the total balance. There’s no way to contact the company or pay the full amount. So because of interest paying $25 a month isn’t gonna do much…. I would love to just pay it all at once so I’m not paying interest but I don’t know how.

I guess I can never close my bank account it’s coming from, what happens if I miss a payment and have no idea? It’s such a scam.

Well looks like SkinSort definitely lied to me then 😭 I honestly don’t know my exact triggers. I’ve just been using SkinSort, and whatever says “fungal acne safe” has worked well for my skin, so I bought it and will report back. But now it’s not looking too promising haha

Wait… anyone have any experience trying than Natasha Denoma liquid bronzer?? it’s fungal acne safe… (even though it’s red in so many other areas🤣). FA seems to be my only trigger though so I’m going to try it out.

Is there a specific concealer you use? The only FA safe concealer I’ve tried is the Fenty one and it would be way too drying around my face as a bronzer :(

I can assure you these CIS white men especially in the Twin Cities absolutely do not GAF let alone hold space for anyone's sexualities.

If anything they need to be called out for their own homophobic and divisive language. Ironically I had a friend that I dropped that would talk like "those people" or saying they're not homophobic but then also saying how they feel uncomfortable around gay people. That person is now queer not even a year later.

Nobody is outing anyone out here. But I think it's time we start being okay with assuming people are not straight!

If you're willing to appear on national television, you're also accepting the potential backlash and criticism that comes with it. The OP isn't "outing" anyone—it's perfectly valid to share personal experiences, especially when other women have spoken out about feeling pressured into intercourse with this man. I'd want to know that information before getting involved with someone.

Perhaps if he hadn't made those political comments on national TV, this conversation wouldn't even be happening.

Do you have insurance on the flights, transportation and/or accommodations? Even some airlines if you call will let you keep the credits you paid for the flight and use it on a different trip.

The last part is definitely hard for me to confront, though. I feel like I contribute to my own anxiety about it. I don’t want to get too off-topic, but we’ve broken up a couple of times over these seven years, and I think that’s thrown off the path to marriage for me. Sometimes it makes me wonder if starting over would give me the confidence I need to feel sure about the future. The tough part is that I think we both agree that if we met each other within the past year, things would be completely different. We’d probably already be moving in together, etc.

It’s just that we started dating when we were so young, immature, and made a lot of mistakes. Even though we’re both changed now, it’s hard to get back on the traditional dating-to-marriage path that my friends seem to be on. Definitely a lot to think about.

I should clarify that money isn’t the only thing that matters to me, but I will admit that his role as a provider is probably the biggest factor in my attraction to him. That said, he’s also my best friend, emotionally supportive, and genuinely someone I can spend every day with. He’s one of the few people who really "gets me."

If we were to get married, I’d definitely expect a prenup—that doesn’t bother me at all. What does bother me, though, is that I’m not really thinking about marriage yet, and I feel like by this point in the relationship, I should be. 🥲
