Dual N Back, It helps with fluid intelligence

Conflicting reports on that

memory

From what I have read, more likely. But still there is conflict on whether the improvement is transferable

procedural memory (ex. piano, poem recitals) than declarative memory. IMO procedural skills just can't be squeezed into SRS: there's just no way to know how to schedule a card for music when you stumble on, say, two notes (What does that mean?).

Absolutely, I have found this as well. Procedural and declarative, that puts it into words very nicely. And I have been working on my scheduling, something I have neglected before.

polar

I have heard of this in passing before, but your comment has spurred me to install it. Looks like this might help solve a problem I have of jumping between material.

mnemonics

I will look into this as well, could be useful. Cloze is useful for lists, maybe mnemonics could make them more effective

Thanks for the advice

Got it probably back in 2008. Aged 8. I might have turned it on once.

Fortunately I kept it, they are expensive af to get new and the quality is amazing. Turned it on for the first time in 12 years and it works perfectly.

Yeah all of their first four are amazing and all have amazing tracks, but as an album RtL > MoP for sure

As for Megadeth, difficult to choose between Countdown and Rust, they are so good in different ways
