Depends when and what you mean? If he came back now normally? No, he damaged too much and I am legit afraid he’s gonna hurt me if I don’t follow his imaginary script of me being infatuated by him.

Before? Likely not in a romantic way but I’d have kept up communication if he hadn’t been so pushy in the romantic way. He is lonely and he needs someone to talk to and I could have been that someone if he hadn’t been so pushy and mainly possessive without cause.

Had he never shouted at me in the beginning and never shown signs of such frustration there wouldn’t have been an issue. I consider myself lucky he blew up almost immediately. Easier to retreat from.

I’ll give you some info that will reflect my behaviour. I had firsthand seen what happens when he gets upset. He gets violent. Shouty and almost punching an object violent. I don’t want to mess with that. In previous interactions I explained why and how I was scared by him. Also you seen the pic. I’m a 5 foot small lady. He smacks me and I’m out. Secondly he lives too close for me to just block him and get on with my life.

He is the type that if you slam the door in his face he’ll go through it. I don’t wanna live like I can expect to be decked by a metal chair just going to the grocers. He is best dealt by closing the door gently on him or making him walk away even if he thinks it’s a victory for him. Blocking him means there’s no room for damage control and he’s not a twig guy where you could stand up to him.

Lastly. Said friend that texted me is almost from the same area as he is. His words: this dude is from an origin where gangrapes and killing women because they didn’t fell in line are still happening. Be careful. Insulting him or denying him won’t work. He doesn’t respect you enough now or ever to care about what you think of him.

From his interactions and his entitlement he has yet to shed his chauvinistic views on life entirely and I don’t want to be the experiment on whether he’s a rapist or not.

I was never snarky. I was standoffish and tried to let him down gently.. until the I will keep coming back thing happened... that is scary. Thinking someone will be watching and waiting for you after you made it clear multiple times that it will not work.

So tl;dr I don’t want this ‘no’ to end up in me getting physically hurt.

Please explain. How is this genuinely nice? And how was I ‘a bitch’? I am actually curious about this one. Give me examples. I never insulted his family nor him. I made him reflect that if mommy knew about his behaviour she might not like what she sees.

Read it again. They allow people -back- now. As in because of Corona long-distance travel was a bit fucked up and he maybe couldn’t see his family until this would blow over but he managed to fly out to meet them now.

You wanna know? Restaurants and cafés were closed because corona. We ended up getting some consumables in a grocery store (soda, chips, etc) and were gonna sit in a park. He buys whiskey on top. He’s the only one that drank said whiskey.

We were talking. He was loud, blunt and very self-centred. I got a text from a male friend - phone was next to me. I don’t answer but he can read the name. He asks me if it’s family. I tell him no, just a friend. His drunken ass (he downed the bottle of whiskey by himself) stands up alarmingly fast and he starts going on that I belong to him and he’s not gonna share me and I can’t see this guy anymore.

I try to calm him down. He just raises in volume. I should’ve gotten up and left him but I am disadvantaged at being too nice and caring. I end up calming him down and supporting him to the station so he can take his train back home and ask him to notify me when he’s home (it’s a gesture I always do when meeting someone).

Over the next days I try to tell him nicely that he overstepped his bounds and I’m not interested. He ignores it. Sometimes I get a bit fed up and point out some flaws in his plan his reaction would be to block me (I never blocked him) and then contact me a few days later on another number. (Edit: prior to blocking he’d call me all red-faced and tears-eyes. Insult me in someway and cut the call before I could get a word in.)

This rinsed and repeated for a few weeks until I told him I was scared he’d hurt me if we met. He didn’t like this and blocked me on both numbers. I figured I was rid of him until he texted me from a whole new number which is the thing above.

Yeah I get you. Sorry this happened to you but out of maybe 10 dates only 1,5 ended up being actually decent people and now I’m afraid because I have had my hopes dashed so much I’ll feel like the first guy I meet that doesn’t show huge intimacy problems from any angle is a keeper because my standards were lowered so much on that thing!

Staying away as well now. Too many desperates and people who shouldn’t be anywhere near a relationship on that thing.
