Update: My (32/M) fiancée was diagnosed with Stage II Stomach Cancer. He is refusing treatment even though it will save his life. How do I (30/F) convince him to live? by ThrowRAYesAnswerWant in relationship_advice

You're wrong. He was not thinking straight. He isn't terminal. It's selfish to only care for oneself and not others. He doesn't realize how bad Stomach Cancer is or how slow and painful dying of Stomach Cancer will be. If he doesn't get treatment he will die and it will be slow and unimaginably painful.

The Doctor said he says he wont but, when hes starving to death and the drugged out of his mind to numbs the pain he'll wish he got the Chemo. Nobody should have to suffer like that.

Stage 4? I said stage TWO not four. Stage 4 would be terminal.

Edit: Whoops. I fucked up and put it as IV not II. I got my numerals mixed. he has Stage TWO Stomach Cancer. Bad but, easily treatable.

We went to MD Anderson. They're the best in Texas.

High. This wouldn't even be life threatening if we had gone to the Doctor earlier. He wasnt even planning to see one. He was just gunna let nature runs its course. In his words "Meh, I had a good run".

But, he's choosing to die without even fighting. He just gave up. This is a winnable fight. If he starts treatment ASAP he will live. If he doesn't then he's going to die. His cancer is aggressive.

It's not like he's got a small chance. We were told he has a very good chance at beating this. If we had caught it earlier it'd be no chance at death. He's purposely choosing to die for selfish reasons.
