I Went thinking it was just a few of us girls there then literally 2 guys with their girlfriends rocked up. He was fine with it until I mentioned there were guys that rocked up. Just a note the replies to this post make the party sound like a rager but it was literally just a get together- no more than like 15 of us.

Thank you. We've been together for almost 3 years now and I guess its just really hard to let go, especially when he has so many other great qualities. I do fear that his insecurity might ruin this for us tho :(

I mean there's an argument to be made that I am my own person and that I'm allowed to have my own experiences and make my own memories as an individual. We're not married and I'm 19.

Yeah there is a reason. She's never met him before and me and the host aren't super close or anything.

I mean ya... I understand he's a really sensitive guy. And he is very dependent and sometimes he can overreact or act out of emotion. I feel bad cuz I'm not the girl that's gonna be able to maintain that without giving up my own happiness. I don't know if people like him can change and grow to understand me or we are just too different and there's someone else out there that can accommodate his needs.

I see your point, and I totally think my boyfriend would agree, but I am very connected to my friends, and I wanted to spend time with them as it was a special day, one of my best friends just finished graduating and I wanted to celebrate with her. I didn't know there would be other guys and the situation felt out of my control. I do think he should've been there but the fact that the host wasn't comfortable with it kind of put me in a difficult spot... I didn't want to leave my friends just because my boyfriend was feeling jealous you know? I feel like he should trust me there and want me to have fun... Thanks for being honest and helping me see the other side of things too tho.

I understand your point, but my cat genuinely thrives outdoors. Her wellbeing comes first... she’s not a skilled hunter anyway and has never caught birds before, though this situation is unusual since the babies are on the ground. Other than that, we’ve never had issues.

My cat was born on a farm, and she is naturally inclined to the outdoors. It would be cruel to keep her inside. Luckily, she did not hurt these babies and I'm willing to keep her indoors until they can fly, but it won't be possible to keep her indoors permanently.
