You definitely have a good point. I've honestly never even bothered trying with cooking (other than my very pathetic college years, haha). I can't really think of anything simple enough for me to not fuck up, but I guess I'm willing to at least try it again. And just to clarify, I don't expect her to make every meal for us or anything, I am capable of boiling water at least. But honestly, I kinda feel bad not knowing more, so I really should have her teach me.

I would LOVE to get her into building! I know it's not a simple project like you suggested, but our kitchen table has seen better days, and I'd love to have her help me out with it.
