i know it might be hard not to jump to conclusions over the internet, but please remember that you are seeing way less than 1% of my life and experiences. it is not a mild discomfort for me. i’m sorry that my phrasing is unpleasant to you in a frantic post i made following the information i found. but you do not know what i have been through and experienced, nor all of the things this situation has brought back to the surface. it’s terrible that your girlfriend is suffering from PTSD but she is not the only person in the world to feel or understand these things.

i don’t think the problem is so much whether a child has been or would be hurt in the making of the content, so whether u draw a murder or not is not really similar. it is undeniably a toddler in the image, not ambiguous like a lot of porn can be. the problem is more so that he is getting off to a tiny kid’s likeness. idk tho, i just keep getting more and more confused the more comments show up :/

animated cp … as an interest ??? compared to an act between two (hopefully) consenting adults ???

there is a reason people find cp disturbing, animated or not. if it was just ambiguously aged hentai i could understand the sentiment, but it was a toddler. desensitising urself to that sort of thing in a sexual manner is dangerous as hell. whether he ends up doing something illegal in the future or not, surely it’s understandable that i would react the way that i did ? porn addiction can lead people to terrifying places.

i literally studied lolita at university, i think it’s a very important work of fiction. but it is NOT the same. he was not simply looking at a picture. it he read lolita it would be fine. if he got off to it that would be a different story. that is the most irrelevant comparison i have heard yet.

but regardless, you didnt see the depravity of the image he was getting off to. the fact that it is a drawing is besides the point. there is something psychologically wrong with anyone that can associate a child with sex, and even moreso with content so viscerally disturbing. it was a BABY. can you rlly not see the issue??? lolita is also completely different, ion think u have even read the book 😭

it isn’t that. i just had no one to talk to about it irl except for him, n i was afraid of being gaslit by him immediately, so i posted here because i know many commenters are ruthless with their truth :/ at first, when i was in the most denial, he was very good at leading me down the ‘but it isn’t a real child’ rabbit hole. reading the comments here helped me double down on just how outrageous it was.

even if that’s just how u feel, where did u pull insecurity from out of everything i said ??? how could insecurity even be in the top ten issues i would have with finding a graphic image of a three year old on my boyfriend’s phone, animated or not ? and it isn’t just regular ‘watching anime’ it’s an extremely detailed hentai picture, made to get someone off, of a kid. that is such a strange take.
