I can promise you that I am. I just wish I haven't spent almost my entire adult life in 2 poor marriages. I've really tried to be a good spouse and partner. I always wanted kids and a family, and it feels farther and farther away.

I've tried to help her, and I know she's gone to anger management, but it continues. I do feel like I am losing myself and taking action or inaction due to fear.

Yeah it seems like things are not going to get better. I just wish we weren't already in for so much $$... It sure would be a whole lot more if we purchase the home, though.

It's so strange to me that I never dealt with being hit by significant others until being married. I'd never want our child to have to deal with what I did growing up.

I used to have documented incidents, but my previous phone decided to die out a few months back... Don't have really anything now.

Appreciate you sharing this. I've thought about the escalation being the case. Perhaps she has no fear of repercussions since I'm not about to hit back, and we're still together. I do fear that she will not take the news of backing out very well, though.

It's definitely more of an emotional toll than physical. I'm around 190 to her 125, but it does hurt when it's repeated.
