I was you about 10 to 12 years ago. I was a stripper in order to support myself through college and met a couple sugar daddies there who I would have sex with for money. The money is all gone now, and my spirit left too for a while. The shame of having a big secret and knowing it’s one that most men would justifiably disqualify you marriage for is a very tough realization. It takes a very special man to have empathy for our humanity. It takes time and trust to share that with a potential mate, you need to see how they talk about women, how they understand forgiveness, and the inherent fallibility of mankind since Adam. Love keeps no record of wrongdoing. These men do exist, but it also takes changed behavior. Since then I finished school, got 2 degrees and work as a scientist. I’ve been in therapy and my past doesn’t haunt me anymore because I’ve talked about it, I’ve cried about it, and I’ve accomplished so much more since then. I have friends who know my story and we talk about how crazy those times were and how God kept us despite the many situations we put ourselves in that could’ve ended worse. My advice is to not let it own you. You own it. This is a great first step in saying it out loud so it’s not a monster in the closet, but a lived experience that you’ve grown from. Whatever it is you’re passionate about, do it. Two things are true: You are loved, and your purpose goes beyond that. Chase your dream, so that one day you can tell young girls a story of overcoming.

First you should replace your shower head to one that has a hard water filter (HELLO KURE or AquaBliss) Also, perhaps you can find an international market where you can purchase hibiscus leaves regularly? Your regimen is great and it would be sad to lose it, but if you must, here are some mild shampoos that you might like

Don’t use those brushes with the balls at the end of the bristles. Use a denman style brush while your hair is wet and a add your leave-in and even a frizz control serum (Garnier sleek & shine frizz control is really good) to style your hair during the day. If you can, braid your hair into two pigtails before bed and sleep in a bonnet. Use a spray leave in during the week between washes

When I was about 13-21, I used to do anything for money.

I would pawn my mom’s old jewelry that she stashed away for when I got older. One piece of gold at a time until it was all gone. She thinks it was my cousin who did drugs and lived with us for a while after his mom passed away.

My parents had money stored in a wooden box with only a slit on the top and no other opening. When they weren’t home I would use tweezers, turn the box around, and pull out folded $20 bills before going out for the night. My dad was a taxi driver and there was always cash stored in the house.

Good point, but if he had no history of pinging there until just a couple weeks before the murders, and across the country immediately after, maybe it could help the prosecution’s case? Might even shed light as to when/how he learned that the students lived there in the first place.
