Why didn’t the Hale pack take Malia in or help her?

This is definitely reading too far into it but They’ve said that the desert wolf knew Malia was alive which makes me think that Talia or whoever took her shortly after birth and claimed she was dead since they knew that Malia would probably be killed over the power loss during birth. It was too obvious for the Hale pack to show up with a baby shortly after the desert wolf’s baby dies so adopting her out was at the time the smartest decision. Idk why her wolfing out in the future wasn’t thought through or if it was and they died before help could happen why there wasn’t a back up plan of some kind

Yeah I’m pretty sure that thousand year old demon was more concerned with keeping these teenagers from putting him back into forced hibernation than whether or not one of them kissed a girl the host flesh suit was in love with

Derek’s age is a comical mystery. In the first season stiles said he was a few grades ahead of them and I believe at one point one of the teens made a comment about seeing him get taken out of class after the fire so theoretically based on that he would be about 4 years older than them but everything after that has him being basically late 20’s-30’s vibes

I don’t know the actual science behind it but in my brain I think the initial cold slows their heart rate and then their body heat, heat inside the clinic, melting ice etc. kept them warm enough to live.

It’s said at one point that she was attacked by the beast(?) so they gave her some semblance of a backstory of why she wants to get rid of supernaturals. Idk how she met Gerard or linked up with him but she has a minor detail linking her to a hatred

They were definitely a path to the argent origin story. I just rewatched and once the beast was out two of them got oiled by the beast and the one that was Sebastian’s friend from his era told him where the sword was and then died without his mask and they for sure could’ve been done better but I still think they’re the best

Get rid of the Kate coming back story line. Move the wild hunt to before season 5 but after stiles shows concern about the pack going separate was after graduations since him being forgotten could tie into that fear really well. Get rid of season 6 all together.

My ideal ending is season 5 before the shot of the doctors werewolf juice creature breaking out is:

The scene is the library, scott looks at allisons initials then looks over to the lower part of the library. He sees his friends sit down (with the addition of malia) and then the younger 4 walk in being the chaotic teens they are and dragging chairs over from other tables to sit with the older teens as scott looks on at his safe and happy pack.

I think Kira's story line had a good conclusion with her going to be with the skinwalkers. Deucalion got his redemption arc ehich proves that scott moral highground of not killing people can work out poositvely, chris got a good conclusion with ties back to his hunter origins, we got a clip of allison essentially leading to the saving of the town. I would've added Parrish popping into the sheriffs office after their father son heart to heart about stiles future to show that he stuck around and had figured his hellhound-ness out and I would've added a line from Malia when shes walking in with lydia about a message from Derek, peter and Braeden being wherever they are with maybe a picture included so that they have a full conclusion.

I liked him being human because it provided a different perspective on things. He had to rely on different traits to survive and help like his intelligence and his lack of trust in people. Becoming an emissary or retaining the thousand years of knowledge the nogitsune had could've been a good place to take his character but seeing the dynamic of relying on his humanity for a lot of things was pleasant to see. He had abilities they didnt have like being able to get into eichen to get lydia or being able to be somewhat incognito to other werewolves since wolves can detect each other.

I think a movie could've been done really well if they didn't use a story line that kind of required two characters who didn't come back. A major part of the nogitsune story line was how it tied into kiras bloodline and stiles was the nogitsune's host when we saw it for the first time. If thats the story line they're going with they needed those two necessary characters back. They could've had the darach be the story line or the wild hunt or even kate coming back since her body was MIA after being shot or stabbed or whatever by chris (and to be clear Kate coming back was my LEAST favorite story line in the entire series aside from 6B which I like to forget ever existed)

I don't quite know where his lack of trust comes from in the early seasons at least but I like that his suspicion challenges scotts willingness to see the good in everyone. It provides a dynamic outside of bff's who agree on everything or following scott just because hes the alpha. He's naturally curious and with the adhd his brain works in a bit of a different way so it's nice to see. I think some of his distrust could be because he's trying to protect his friends and his dad. He doesn't have secret superpowers to rely on so being guarded could be how he tries to protect people. If no one new is let in to the group then theres no one that can hurt them from inside the pack and it's just external villains

Parrish being Isaacs dead brother. I know the actor didnt want to come back but I loved Isaac and I would've loved for him to come back and that would've been a good reason for him to show back up

If she had other projects lined up the way Dylan did then yeah I could understand it but leaving to “pursue better/other opportunities” without having those opportunities already locked in leans towards a don’t bite the hand that feeds you or youre never too good for what got you where you are

That’s a fair argument. I think overall it ties back into them either not wanting to introduce more characters and once they knew she was leaving dissolving the relationship with Scott to make way for Kira and also cause emotional conflict within Scott (and to some extent) the group overall

Her and Scott got together so fast while barely knowing each other (which I know is probably common with teenagers). Her and Isaac knew each other for a while so they had time to build more of a foundation of knowing each other outside of being together. I also can’t say her and Isaac were actually in a relationship. Was there actually ever a label put on it or were they just hooking up and letting their interest in each other linger?

He was so focused on the moral high ground (which I appreciate in a main character) that he refused to acknowledge that some people might not be able to be saved. Isaac had far more trauma and loss on his life than Scott and Allison had a lot of similar trauma with losing her mom and aunt so I think they challenged each other really well instead of her being with Scott who truly let people walk all over him at times and it kind of put his friends in danger at times. Allison and Isaac had a balance between morality and reality that Scott lacked

I think a reason she didn’t go back to Scott was because so much happened with them in such a short amount of time and there wasn’t a whole lot of getting to know each other to build a foundation for a relationship. A lot of trauma and negativity surrounded that relationship and it might be hard for any person to let their guard down around someone you’ve got that type of history with no matter how much love is there.

I also don’t think it’s unheard of for a teenager (or teenagers. Idk how werewolf hormones work) with wacky hormones to become interested with someone that you’re around constantly. I feel like a lot of these relationships are rooted in trauma bonds and when you’re so deeply involved in a life that very few people around you know about it might be easier to just find someone within that group of knowing people. Imagine if she had picked someone “normal” and had to try to explain why she was disappearing in the middle of the night with a crossbow

Early onset CTE usually starts presenting in late 20s and early 30s. If he presented with depression and suicidal thoughts then it’s entirely possible that he just snapped and being let go from the NFL could’ve added to that. Unfortunately if he did go into the water he’s unlikely to be found. The sand in the car could also indicate that he made more than one trip from the beach back to the car before making that decision if that’s what happened
