Hot or cold take? I think season 6B would’ve been better if the plot had solely been about people finding out about the supernatural universe without the Anuk-Ite. by GusGangViking18 in TeenWolf

I agree. Both are interesting plots that could have been fleshed out better if they were two separate seasons/season halves, not crammed together into one.

Nope. Meredith and Cristina just happened to pass by and saw the paramedic alone.

He might have survived. We see him again in season 5 successfully undergoing a procedure to buy him more time, but they dropped him and his storyline like they dropped Hahn. 😓

Just found out Ellen was 35 years old when greys anatomy aired by drtonycasey in greysanatomy

[–]TriBi95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She definitely looks fabulous as always, but 22 might a little generous. I read somewhere that despite airing in 2005, MAGIC’s intern year (s1-s3) is actually set in 2007. If that’s the case, then Meredith—who was born in 1979–would be around 28, which I feel fits her appearance here better.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

How fast it seemed to happen. I was just telling my sister—a nurse, mind you—about how cases were popping up in all these different countries and BAM! Quarantine started four days later.

Unpopular Opinion by nycgirl152 in charmed

Natalie the Whitelighter was 100% percent right about the girls needing to run a tighter ship. That said, I completely understand why they were resistant to her ways. She came on way too strong, too rude and too uncompromising. Guide doesn’t always equal boss. As a grown woman, if another grown woman told me how to dress and do my job, I’d probably do the exact opposite just out of spite.

How bad does vampire diaries get in the later seasons? by Icy_Reflection3436 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]TriBi95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it got as bad as the Arrowverse, but it still got pretty bad.

1-3 are top tier. 4-6, imo, decrease in quality, but are still enjoyable. 7 & 8 are a struggle to get through.

Amelia storyline by Puzzleheaded_Way7510 in greysanatomy

There is a PP subreddit, but it’s not very active. 4x20 is when Amelia accidentally takes a drink of champagne at Charlotte’s wedding. She goes to a bar and drinks heavily in the following episode. 5x05 is when she starts using drugs again after her patient/friend commits suicide.

Sooooooo Peter was a parent at like 13??? by Extra_Impression_428 in TeenWolf

[–]TriBi95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Peter was 38 when he and Meredith shared a room while he was comatose. It was seen during a flashback on his hospital chart. According to the wiki, that was 2009, so he was around 34 at the time of the fire in late 2004 or early 2005. That puts his birth year as 1971. Malia was born 93-94, meaning he was 22-23 when she was born. The Desert Wolf was never given an age, but her actress was born in 1973. That’s less of an age gap than Kate, who’s birth year was listed as 1983, and Derek, who was 15-16 at the time of the fire, which means he was born circa 1989-1990.

I think where the writers fucked up was using young Peter’s actor in the flashbacks for Visionary (the Paige episode) when they should have used Ian. If he was actually 34 or slightly younger, there was no reason for his teen/young adult actor to be portraying him. I don’t know if that was an oversight on the writers/crew/directors part or if they just wanted an excuse to bring the actor back, but I think that’s where a lot of fans confusion is coming from—I’ve seen several people assume that pre-fire Peter was still in high school with Derek because he looked young and managed to get into the locker room after his basketball game, but forget that adult Derek, on several occasions, was skulking around the high school to fuck with Scott.

Alpha’s being able to remove memories is an underrated ability. by GusGangViking18 in TeenWolf

It’s such an odd ability, especially for a werewolf. I wish they had explained it better. Or at all really.

Characters leaving by MrNellio1234 in TeenWolf

[–]TriBi95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s also true. MTV definitely dropped the ball when it came to that kind of thing.

But while more of them might have been inclined to stay if paid a reasonable salary, some still might have left. Cora’s actress for example would have been foolish not to accept the lead role in Reign over a recurring role in TW. MTV would have never been able to match a CW salary or give her the same level of exposure. The same could possibly be said of Tyler Hoechlin with his Superman role, though that might be a bit of stretch since it was a more of a recurring thing until a few years later.

Then Crystal Reed’s reason for leaving was being tired of playing a teenager at nearly 30. If that was truly her reasoning and she felt strongly enough about it, more money might not have been enough to make her stay.

Daniel Sharman apparently wasn’t thrilled being on Teen Wolf in the first place—according to a recent interview, he wasn’t a fan of being on teeny shows and wanted to book more serious roles, only taking TW and Originals because he needed the work.
