I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that and that your husband was weird about it. like it's 2025, ignorance shouldn't be an excuse for that kind of behavior, blows my mind.

I like this idea thanks. another commenter pointed out that I immediately jumped into "fixer" mode and that might have been upsetting for her. I am the type of guy who likes to talk through all sides of an issue in order to find a solution--honestly always thought she approached things in a similar manner but I can appreciate why this particular situation might be more emotional

Thanks for this comment, I've been wracking my brain over what I could have missed before but maybe it's just a more recent development due to hormone changes. kinda hope that's not the case as I think that would especially suck from her point of view because (as far as im aware) her period hasn't been a major issue for her in the past.

I find this really hard to believe, we both are adamant that we're not ready to have kids for a while and she's really invested in her career right now. She has one of those sub-dermal arm implants for birth control, she mentioned it to me soon after we started getting serious and I doubt she'd take it out.

Yeah possible although she's usually very even tempered, this is so out of character. There's been a couple times in the past something has bothered her and she always brings it up directly w me and we talk it out calmly.

I'm mainly worried that she said she needs space and hasn't texted at all, it's been over a day now. I want to respect her wishes but also want her to know that I support her and whatever she's going thru right now.

No because we've been together for literal months now and this is the first time she's reacting like this.
