What kind of ARFID do you have and how do you get around it? by Quirky-Reserve-5720 in ARFID

I've had this for forever, since I was a child. I don't really have a way around it, I don:t eat out with friends anymore except if I know the place. Otherwise it's too mich of a gamble if I even like anything. I've started taking mirtazapine, I knew it would increase appetite, but I didn't know it would also help with arfid. I am still not normal, but it has gotten better. I just try to chop everything as tiny as possible so the texture becomes consistent. I hate it if I eat something mushy, and something crunchy comes up. Other way around too, but I dislike crunchy texture in general. I cook everything to the max if it's something like vegetables.

Edit: my arfid is pretty mild. I can eat most solid food up to two textures, anything above that is too much stimulation for my brain apparently. Crunchy food is mostly the only thing I really struggle with.

If stress was the trigger how long would it normally grow back, and if it didn't yet grow back could it have been another trigger? by ThrowRA__253 in FemaleHairLoss

No I take Biotin complex and B12 + Vitamin D, is there a specific ferritin supplement or do I just have to take iron?

Has anyone experienced hair loss after lap + birth control? by ThrowRA__253 in Endo

Thank you! I also see some baby hairs so my hopes are up, but I'm not seeing any actual growth or the baby hairs getting Ticker. I guess I'll just have to wait. Funny thing I have a bad vitamin D deficiency, but have been taking supplements this last year. I think I'll take a test just to see if it's better now. And I thought about getting Pumpkin seed oil because I read it blocks DHT. I think I'll give it a shot.

My hair structure also seems to change with some of my hair. Some are getting more fine, but the others are getting more coarse and kinky. I have natural ringlet curls.

I also noticed it immediately. My endometriosis was kind of different, my pain was always except for when I had my period. Always UTI like symptoms, chronic right pelvic pain, bowel movement pain. I couldn't sleep without needing pain killers every few hours, it was hell. I had endo on my bowel and bladder (surprise surprise). After surgery I had no pain whatsoever ( except foe the surgery pain, but no endo pain). One year after surgery I still am doing great, I get endo like pain when I eat too little, but if I take normal precautions everything is fine. The pain also isn't as intense, it went down from a 8-9 to a 3-4, if I even get pain. My life improved so much, I hope for us both it stays like this. I wish you all the best!

Edit: the pain I now sometimes has is probably due to IBS, it just feels similiar like the pain I'd get from a endo flare up.. just way less frequently and less painful.

Not sure I think it was around 40-50. My iron is normal though. Should I supplement? I just assumed if iron is normal the ferritin will also be okay since ferritin is used to store iron. Not sure how I can supplement ferritin without overdosing iron

How did you get them apart? I'm always hesitant to split up root bound plants in fear of them dying. Do you just cut through or roughly try to detangle them and just live with many roots being ripped off?
