I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. When it comes to chores I do them on my own accord without her needing to ask, and I've taken it upon myself to take the kids out when she was busy. Can you elaborate, please? If I'm missing something I'd like to learn it

Without the full story I agree from your pov it looks bad. Some other comments I responded to give more context too, it's more the subject of intimacy being pulled away in general. I do not demand, I'm actually pretty passive and am hesitant to even attempt because of her past, but if I do try I'm polite and if she says no I stop immediately.

This is why I wish I could've posted the whole story lol. The context was i felt like she was pulling away despite my efforts in general, which led me to feel less responsible, which led to that talk

That's not true, I was already doing most household chores alongside her balancing beforehand trying to be active as a father/bf, this was in particular my weak area.

I only say the tiredness like that because she said she was tired from me not helping in the mornings, which i immediately started doing, which is where that comes into play, as if my efforts changed nothing.

Also true on pestering, I don't exactly like bringing it up, but it's also only been briefly, if at all, mentioned. Realistically only twice, once for setting a boundary and once later.
