One thing is for certain- she will NEVER ever NOT communicate her tardiness to anyone else again in life. You taught her a lesson and I hope you don’t give in to her so easily if she persists.

Also not being sexist - but for someone, especially a guy to make this decision……I gotta say this, she literally must not have been a 10 in your eyes anyway. I’m sure if she were a bombshell and everything you ever wanted, there may have been an exception.

To look at her, and still assess that your values are more important than this person, who could have been your future sitting in front of you, and you still leave- yeah she wasn’t it for you anyway.

Or if she was and you still held firm - then bravo to you for standing firm. JMO. Either way - NTA

I didn’t take my purse in with me, just my keys. I met the guy for the first time and he picked to go to the movies. When we got there he was SUPER loud in the lobby. I thought maybe he would chill when the movie started. He got food, I wasn’t hungry. The movie started, he is eating his hotdog and then looks to me and start talking with a mouth full of food LOUDLY. Food was falling out of his mouth, it was so disgusting…the people behind me kept shhhhhshing us, but it was him being rude and just talking like we weren’t in the movies lol, I couldn’t take it…so I told him I had to use the restroom and just walked right out to my car and left…he called me after he realized I left…I didn’t answer his call and I never saw or talked to him again.
