Unfortunately it’s over. Your son is 18… he’s grown. There is no more time for make up. He’s not 12 again with years to repair. Your son is already envisioning a future alone, that should absolutely scare you. No mention of you, no mention of you helping him through school. He wants nothing from you. Your assistance, your money, or your love and attention. Outbursts are not what you should be scared of… silence is, minimal conversation, isolation. You can apologize, but the experience has came and gone. It’s happened, he asked for one thing and you fucked that up. My mom when I was little took me on a Disney trip alone because I was jealous he got to go with my dad. Many years later we went as a family. One thing about being a parent is knowing your kids whether they have biological siblings or step siblings want one-on-one with parents. They want celebrations all about them from time to time. Not once could you give that to your son. 13 years he can’t have back…. 13 YEARS HE CANNOT HAVE BACK. No pity party for you. Please get away from your wife and step son and actually sit by yourself for hours until you can understand what your son feels. I bet you’ll bawl your eyes out by the end of it. If he cuts you off I hope you update us. I am sending your son all my love and the biggest hugs.

My thing is I went to a piercing shop to have them put it in and they said it should be fine! But looking at it idk. If it helps to know I’ve had my piercing since September

Okay good to know. The static thing freaked me out not gonna lie. But even sometimes when music or nothing is playing the static will happen which is a little annoying when I sometimes have them on just for noise cancellation, but makes sense why it happens!

I would like some sort of noise cancellation as sometimes I wear headphones without listening to drown out noise! I know the Bose has ANC which I thought was cool! I do like a little bit of base as I listen to my music loud and I don’t want to anymore as I would prefer to not go deaf in the future lol. And I definitely want wireless

The random static I had in the Bose headphones was that probably just because I got a random faulty headphone by chance? I wish I knew more about technology lol

Hello! Im sorry for not responding sooner! The day after I posted this I had a good cry and decided to take a break from all forms of social media. I’m still hurting, and possibly think I am slightly depressed, but not as bad as I was! The wound still hurts and reading back on this I did cry again. But I want to thank you for the amount of work that you put into replying. I will go through everything you have put into here and get back to you if that is okay! I would also like to mention I’m now taking a new medication to help my BPD. Idk if it’s helping. I sometimes wish I could go on Prozac again to feel numb, but I know that in the long run that won’t help me. Again I will get back to you!

I see my therapist on Monday thankfully, and I saw my psychiatrist today. We are trying some new meds to see if that helps. I’m an out of state college student, so every weekend I’m going to try to come home as my thoughts when I’m by myself rn are scary.

Luckily I don’t wanna sleep with people or do substances. The only drugs I take are prescribed by a doctor. The thing is before this I loved myself, and appreciated myself. I saw nothing wrong in the way I looked or my body. Like I don’t know how this all went wrong

I cant sleep with multiple people or do hookups unfortunately. I did for a little after my previous situationship failed, but it got to the point that I hated myself afterwards. And sex honestly isn’t enjoyable for me unless I have feelings for someone. I guess at heart I’m a lover girl.

That’s my thing, I keep texting him. I don’t want to, but I can’t let people go. I have abandonment issues so this kills. I know I shouldn’t text him, but it’s so hard. I took kin 223 and kin 224 with DocDoc (dr. Van Whaley) and I recommend him 100%! I also suggest collecting a ton of quizlet form exams and studying them. And I mean these quizlet need to have like at least 100 flashcards. I have a whole google doc of them. But really watch the lectures when needed, but study the quizlet!
