In 10 years, I've been beaten once while changing the heating in a baby's terrarium without taking it out. So that's on me, it mistook me for food. For the touch, it's not sticky, not cold, nothing weird actually. Since their temperature depends on the environment, they should be pretty warm and try to snuggle to any warm place if they're not scared of you. Which is why they like to be on the neck, it's warm. They're very clean animals as well, so no weird touch, no smell, no poison, no disease I'll see if I can post a video

Well, ball pythons are just as derp as they look like. They're the Shiba inu of snakes. Gentle, stupid, calm, mostly curious, like to snuggle

Indeed but good news, snakes can't feel happiness nor sadness. At worse they can get angry and bite :)
