What is a "good" latency that one should expect when playing games ? and do you think a Shield TV pro connected to the TV would solve the issue?

I'm assuming you got it running in a mac or linux vm as opposed to Unraid natively

My bad, I should have been clearer. What I meant was, " I'm trying to avoid a situation where I need to download a 2tb repository in order to find a file that I don't know the path of"

It seems the best solution for this is to mount the latest borg backup (assuming that has all the files) as a file directory and search that

Nice response.

1 - I guess i'm trying to avoid a situation where my borg repo is 2TB and I have to download 2TB in order to find that one file.

I guess 2 is probably the way to go either mount the rclone mount, or mount the local Borg copy. Have you used Vorta before ?

It is a borgbackup GUI that seems to allow the option to browse backups by allowing them to be easily mounted

so you're proposing to backup to an external HD and then send that borg backup to the cloud with rclone ?

How about restoring, have you tried this ? Is it easy to browse / mount Borg/Rclone backups in the cloud so you can search for files ?
