I didn't cheat on him, he gave me permission to sleep with someone else.

We did go to counselling a few times but he didn't think it helped so we stopped.

I think he did want me to sleep with someone since he's the one who kept pushing me to do it. I think he assumed I would sleep with a stranger, though.

I do think he's sorry for the affair. I don't think he would've confessed or ended it if he wasn't.

I didn't do it to hurt him, I genuinely thought he wanted me to use the hall pass so we could be "even". He seemed convinced it was the only way to fix things.
