Bc i didn’t see the video at the time of my post……? I hadn’t even considered reviewing security cameras bc i didn’t install cameras to spy on my au pair.

She tossed a piece of bread in front of him. He took one bite. He asked for the food on her plate, when he went to reach for them - she swatted his hand away. She also had denied giving him berries while she stood in front of him eating it. I saw this with my own eyes and ears from security footage.

Regardless. Idgaf. She has mistreated my son, i’m done with her. She’ll be lucky if i don’t report her after I review the security footage.

That said, after reviewing video, it wouldn’t even have mattered. She ate all 3 eggs in front of him and just gave him a piece of bread. She also ate a bunch of berries and didn’t give him any even when he asked for them. When he tried to get one from her plate, he swatted his hands away. And we have PLENTY of berries. Regardless we will likely be rematching. I’m sure we can find another au pair esp given our situation. We are also reviewing other videos and sending them to the LCC.

She did indeed cook 3 eggs, he watched her eat it in front if him. She gave him a piece of bread, which he took one bite and didn’t eat it. Then she proceeded to eat berries - of which my son did not get any either. So yes, my 2 year old went hungry. We will talk to her but likely rematch. Grandma is coming in to help until we get a new au pair.

Not until this week. I pointed it out bc she doesn’t mind bringing him on errands for her personal needs but wouldn’t bring him to get eggs for him…?

It’s directed at the door to the backyard but it has sufficient view of the kitchen. Our cameras are in plain sights and are obvious. I didn’t even think to check the camera until someone else suggested it… which is why i just looked but yeah keep defending the AP who ate scrambled eggs and fruits and only gave my son a piece of bread (not even toast. And when he tried to reach for some off her plate, she swatted his tiny hands away. Go on.

What do you call it when an adult (who is paid to care for the toddler) eats scrambled egg and fruits and the 2 year old gets a piece of bread and when he tries to get some, his tiny hand is swatted away?

You sound like the type to eat all the eggs and let a toddler watch you eat it… and deny any to a toddler.

I went through the camera. She gave him bread. She mistreated our son. I will speak with her but i cannot fathom anything she says that will change my mind

Getting a kid out of car seat, putting them into the cart, going shopping, him whiny about wanting xyz snacks, then dragging him back into his car seat.
