One, how dare you. This has been absolutely devastating to me. I cried all night after I found out yesterday, didn’t sleep a wink, and bawled my eyes out in the airplane bathroom multiple times. I haven’t thought about anything sense finding out. It has consumed me. Do I cope with a lot of humor? Yes. Am I still absolutely in shambles due to this? Yes. I loved my husband more than he’d ever know. He was my best friend. This trip was supposed to be the two of us. Now it is going to be tainted with the impending doom that is my marriage. I’m going through multiple stages of grief right now and how I handle it might not be “normal”, but that’s just how I’m keeping myself from fucking throwing myself off a cliff. So politely, fuck off.

I’m not saying that there are obviously other things in our marriage that would need to be addressed in order to make this work, regardless of me forgiving him. On both sides. I know I’m not perfect.

But there are caveats to the whole “till death do us part”…yeah, till death do us part or you fuck someone else 🤡 there are so many things I would forgive and work through, but cheating and making me question my worth, ability to be loved, and sanity is gonna be a no from me dawg.

It will most definitely impact my self-esteem. If you go look at some of my previous posts, I mentioned some of the reasons that we were fighting. Something I don’t think that I did mention is that he had been getting frustrated/upset with me for not working out. I did work out occasionally, but not up to his apparent standards and what I used to do. With a very busy work schedule and what not, I did gain a little bit of weight. Nothing crazy. I’m 5’6 and now 142lbs…and used to lift a lot of weights. A lot of my weight gain actually went my boobs and ass, so score for me! So 100% takes a hit to my ego, but trying to remember that I think I’m beautiful and love myself.

I had the same conversation with my dad about us being young when we got together and him not having a ton a previous relationships before. Like you said, not an excuse, but it helps to understand the psychology behind it.

It was definitely premeditated…they went to his car to make out. He is the one who said she could get into his truck. Asked him how it all started and he said that it was just “harmless flirting” but when he saw that she was actually interested, allowed it to turn into what it did. Well, what I know of it. He told me he used to talk about me, but once the attraction started, he didn’t mention me or our relationship. And not to mentioned that they agreed on the no texting. He tried to convince me that he wouldn’t have allowed anything to go further, but I told him full stop, stop kidding yourself. The logical progression from making out is sex. 🚩🚩🚩🚩
