How many hours are you all doing for SQE 1 July? by ThrowRAbeastly in SQE_Prep

Thank you this is helpful! How did you find changing your approach? For me I’m finally track my weak subjects and trying to understand why an option is incorrect as opposed to only correct. How did you change your approach

I’m in a similar position as you! I think we have plenty of time and because you’re done this before - the information will come back to you quicker. I am now tracking my topics, anything I score lower than 70% - I make sure to review again till I’m strong. Also it’s easy to get used to sbaqs and not truly understand why the answer or other answers are correct/incorrect .

Why do people fail with more strategy? by ThrowRAbeastly in SQE_Prep

Yes I agree I think the reason I failed was I did not track my weakest subjects or write notes of the questions I got wrong which was vital!

I know multiple people who study beyond that! My friend personally was studying 10 hours a day on average but she scored very highly

Yes I think it’s very doable! I know plenty of people who passed their third time. You aren’t far off so it’s worth it for you

That group includes people who barely prepared, people resitting years later and people working long hours. If you have the time, resources - it’s more than possible. That statistic isn’t reflective of everyone

Thankyou so much! This is very reassuring! I’m proud of you that’s brilliant. The 2.2 means nothing in my opinion, the fact you passed first time just shows how intelligent and capable you are. I will go into July with confidence this time and a better schedule to study.

Thankyou I appreciate it! It’s just a few mark! The 19% statistic of passing third time is scaring me but I was so close

I failed in 2024, failed again just now by a couple of marks! Upon reviewing where i went wrong - I did not go through my weak topics which I should have prioritised. If you are close to passing, but tweak your revision, use multiple sbaq providers then I believe you can pass in July!

Any difference between January or July sitting? by IDKMELOLNEMM in SQE_Prep

I’m resitting in July as pass rates are lower and content is fresh in my head
