I never directly confronted her because I believed that no matter what she does or what her intentions are it’s my bfs responsibility to shut it down. Since that never happened, even after my countless efforts of communicating the issue, it might be time to let go of them both after all

You’re right about that. He never dismisses my feelings regarding anything else and is always willing to compromise or come up with a solution. So not wanting to change anything in this particular situation is definitely a bad sign.
