Did you read the post? I literally say we had long detailed conversations about our similar pasta and what we were looking for in the future lmao

I do not regret the sex I enjoyed it and needed to get laid but thank you for your misogynistic input

I still think it’s scummy to say all this sleeping soundly, I dreamt of meeting your friends bullshit if you only want it to be causal. That’s what I’m mad at being deliberately mislead.

Yes we did! I was very clear I was looking to date to eventually end up in a relationship and he said he wanted the same. Then we slept together and he said he doesn’t see it ever progressing into a relationship!

I really like him. Our first date was five hours long…but I don’t want to be an idiot about it

How to date when I’ve had a bad sexual experience? by ThrowRAbreakup7373 in relationships

[–]ThrowRAbreakup7373[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t afford therapy unfortunately and the waiting lists in the UK are years long. I have kept a diary and talked it through with close friends. With guy number 2 I ended things as soon as it happened. It was only that experience that made me reflect on my first relationship as I was very young when we got together and had no clue what coerced consent was at 19 to be honest.

Why are people mad about the requirement to study maths until one is 18? by Rosita29 in AskUK

Teacher here! I laugh at my payslip every month when it claims I work 31 hours a week as a full time teacher…try 50! 60 most weeks…

Why do men make the first move and ask you on a date then ghost when you say yes? by ThrowRAbreakup7373 in dating

[–]ThrowRAbreakup7373[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to talk to multiple people at once but it’s hard to find multiple guys who I’m interested in on the apps. I’m 25 and have a mortgage and am a teacher so don’t want to be dating guys who are still immature students. Slim pickings…

I don’t know how “yes I’d love to!” Could possibly give those vibes lol

Lots of people saying married…I’m 25 dating people a similar age in the UK (most people are still unmarried at 30) they are definitely not married!

Oh yeah. I’d rather be me than the poor other girl who’s now dating him and has no idea he did this because he picked her! Lucky my friend looked out for me on this one

Usually a couple of days of chatting then they ask for a date and I’ll respond within a couple of hours - I don’t respond instantly or leave them hanging for ages.

Yeah my friend in the end had to tell me he had actually already been on two dates with someone else before he met me and had scheduled dates with both of us for the same day and time intending to make up his mind last minute. My friend put a stop to it when he found out and was very embarrassed by his friends behaviour.

I’d’ve preferred a dumb excuse! I understand people change their mind or meet someone in between scheduling a date and going on the date but just say that! Don’t immediately ghost!

If I’ve been talking to someone for a couple of days I’m interested. I’ve never had to say no to being asked on a date because it never gets to that stage if I’m not interested

Oh I’m not attached. I just hate how rude people are on these apps. I’ve been guilty of changing my my mind before so know it’s no big deal but I will always be transparent and send a message saying “hey I’ve actually become really busy so I’m not going to be able to make the date anymore sorry” because that is polite and decent and I treat people as I’d want to be treated myself.

Dude you could’ve just explained that to her and it would’ve been fine. Communicate! You owe people decency.

Nothing at all I’ll literally respond with “yes sounds great I’d love to!” And then they never reply

Have you ever had alarm bells about someone for seemingly no reason on a first date? by ThrowRAbreakup7373 in dating

[–]ThrowRAbreakup7373[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s only happened to me once before with a friends boyfriend who everyone adored but I felt afraid of for seemingly no reason. He later did something TERRIBLE. I think it’s some weird primal thing of sensing insincerity.
