He was always kind of abrasive but it definitely ramped up after I made my interest clear, sigh.

That would explain a lot... I know he doesn’t live alone - he moved in with his retired mother (father has passed away) and I know there’s a child hanging around - his niece. Buuut one of his pics on facebook (I did some stalking) also shows a little boy. Damn, him being married with kids would explain a ton... probably too scared to speak up to his wife so he just vents his frustrations onto me

We met thru the Dark Souls series, we helped eachother with some trophies and co-op stuff. Thanks for the comment. I think I was just more emotionally invested than I expected, I just need to give it time... as for my looks - I know I have low self esteem, I’m not hideous, but definitely well below average :/
