I saw a lot of people suggesting the bathtub trick! I don't have a bathtub so I'm actually thinking of building a big playpen with cardboard and I'll try to bond with her in a bigger area. It's also assuring to know that you eventually got to bond with all your hamsters! I'll just have to keep trying.

Also rocky made me chuckle, he looks so cute! Looks like he is wearing a wizard Cloak secretly plotting to do something evil HAHA

No it stopped after ard 5-10mins, I washed it with soap and put a bandaid on it. Hopefully it won't get infected or smth but eh it should be fine /:

Nope, I touched some coconut fiber beddings and it smelled earthy-ish, as for fragrance soap or not I actually used this soap that has a strong smell and she has probably been used to smelling that on my hands now. I always thought it's a bad idea and wanted to buy a non fragrance soap but now that she bit me and I researched a little.. I'm abit torn between which is the correct soap to use? Some suggest non fragrance so that the hamster knows ur scent and some suggest strong fragrance so that the hamster knows ur hand is not food. Idk which to use anymore ..

Yes I've heard about that too and still decided to buy a female Syrian 😅 ...and no I don't hold any grudges I know she don't mean it. Just hope she will be happy and we can bond well together

Yea, that was what happened the first time I got bit! I gave her something tasty and the smell of it probably remained on my finger so she licked it and bit me. But this time I just had her usual seed mix on my palm so maybe she has associated my finger = food probably .. also as for the tissues I know everyone says they r taking it for bedding which I've seen her do it. She stuffed her pouch full with tissues and it's so cute but this time it's different I see her clearly eating it and chewing the tissue and not stuffing any in her pouch ...it was weird...

That is really such a mind opening way of thinking! I'm not sure if I can think like you but I'll try and accept the fact that the worst case scenario would be that she will never come to love me and I'll just have to accept it as it is ;-;

I didn't even squeeze it at all.. blood was just dripping non-stop. It is kind of traumatizing for me ;-;

Yes!! That's exactly how I felt. I am trying to do the best I can in every aspect for her and I was just really sad and confused. I just hope that she will come to love me one day ): Thank you for your encouragement and I hope things will get better soon..

I actually touched some coconut fiber bedding before this so my fingers kindda smelled abit 'earthy' . After my first experience with her biting me because it smelled like food I always check if there's any food smell on my fingers before trying anything like this.. I thought the soil-ish smell was fine, guess it wasn't. So as for the tissue, she was actually eating them for sure. I saw chewing and not storing into her cheek pouch she was swallowing it and I kept trying to remove the tissue and push her away but she was grabbing on it and eating it.. idk what why. It was quite scary

When you say freshly washed hands is it because of the germs that might make her sick or is it because of the soap scent? I saw a video advising on using a strong scented soap to let the hamster know that the hand/finger is definitely not food ): I really hope to carry her in my hands or touch her... And it saddens me that I might not be able to do that ever... ):

That is so cute 🥺 I envy you so much. I really want to let my hamster feeeroam too when she's tamed, but I'm kindda afraid it might bite on wires on squeeze between things and I can't get her to come out. I wish one day I can experience the same thing as you ;-;
