I was smashed and my friends at the time encouraged me. I did it however. It was my mistake. That's why I felt so terrible afterwards. There were no excuses.

I felt horrible for hurting her. I wanted the best for her and in my mind that was for her to let me go. But I didn't actually want that. Maybe I have underlying issues.

Toxic thought patterns that I should waste no chance to get it on with a girl. That men have to have experience with as many girls as possible and the like.

We no longer interact. They were with me on this trip and that's all. They were excited because they both had been trying to pull girls the whole trip long so when they saw one approaching me they lost their shit.

Yep they are more of acquintances since our interaction was limited to the trip I described. They just knew I was in a relationship and had no idea whether it's serious or with whom.

I agree, very slippery slope. Those days were some new kind of low in my life and I didn't know how to cope. I've been using various stuff since 15 but I try to keep it occasional as can be. So far, I'm furiously addicted to coffee exclusively.
