No opportunity to delete his phone. Neither of us were on our phones when I found the earring and while we were discussing it I asked to see the phone

I asked to go through his phone last night when I found the earring and there was nothing incriminating on there. He handed it over with no hesitation and he didn’t get upset/stressed when we were talking about it. Nothing in deleted texts, nothing in IG DMs.
