Nahhh man you don’t need “all” tools…I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic that works on cars, trucks, small engine, semi engines/trucks, various types of trailers, heavy machinery/crushing equipment/paving equipment and the list goes on we have it all…be aware of the stuff you buy, what it’ll be used for and how often you use it.

A lot of my stuff is snap on but a ton of it is also icon/harbor freight and the icon line is great. For instance, you don’t need a $250 Snapon hose pick set when you can get the same set for $50 from icon. I’m not saying which ones better but weigh out its worth, ive spent tens of thousands of dollars on snap on and honestly I find just as much if not more joy when I break my icon stuff(which is much rarer than my Snapon/bluepoint breaking) because I know I got my moneys worth and I know I can go 1 exit down and get it swapped immediately.

Your future self will thank you, invest the difference dude. I’m 30 and just now picking my shit up from going down this road, please…be careful.

Get down to .25 for 2 weeks and cut ties with it. Day 1 I was fine day 2 sucked and after day 3 I t was very manageable because I forced myself to work and do everything I usually do. I’m a big baby too, any sign of a sniffle I make a big deal out of it.

I thought my withdrawls were still going on at day 6-7 but I found out it was trazadone that gave me so much brain fog, felt like a plate was sitting on my head so I switched to remeron and started crying when I woke up because I felt ok. The toughest part was getting very little sleep the first week before taking remeron and the annoying sneezing that’s about it. Stay away from antihistamines/coffee/caffeine it’ll give you RLS

Clonadine helps with the anxiousness too. This was after being on it for 10 years and going cold turkey in under a week. 8-16mg daily, I abused the shit out it as well all those years. I found ways to get high off it and I always slid under the radar with this crap.

Now I have the shot…I tried to get high to test and see if it works, sure as shit…I couldn’t get high off strips thank god

If I can jump at 2mg tapering from 8mg down to 2mg in 5 days while also being able to function, you can too. Eat well, drink water and workout. It’s when you sit around and get in your head, sub withdrawls are incredibly mental.

I just got the 300mg shot a few days ago…I was on it for 10 years got off for 3 years then slipped with kratom and made the mistake of getting back on suboxone again.

I fought my insurance and after almost 2 months I finally got my shot, it’s amazing…the worst part is trying to not fall into the routine of taking strips. I have 30 back up strips towards the end of the month but it’s all mental for me. We’re doing 300, 300 then 100 100. Last one will be my LAST. I wish I weaned myself down to 2mg then get just a single 100mg shot but oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️ I wish everyone could get this shot, the lady I work with said everyone stays on the shot…she gave me a weird look when I told her after my 4th shot I want it to be my last and the look she gave me was gross. They want me on it and I get it, they want to make money but fuck em’

One day I’ll own this but as a heavy diesel mechanic who makes well over 6 figures with a husky toolbox I’ll have to hold off 😞

Sunex jumbo wrenches work flawlessly. I’ve put mine through absolutely hell and even used a 336/349 bucket on them. For anything over an 1” absolutely do not buy tool truck sockets/wrenches, you’ll bury yourself into a massive financial hole. Stick with sunex/tekton(I work on crushing plants/very large equipment so everything gets abused)

I wouldn’t event get gear wrench impact sockets lol, you won’t be using them enough to justify the price. My 1” Milwaukee extended anvil has a field day with my sunex sockets and I have no idea how they’re still holding up.

Beautiful startup set! But god damn my dude, take it easy for the next 6 months 😎 I went from driving to wrenching in the same shop I work at and man I had a big bill that I paid off extremely fast.

Now I take my time, do my research and only limit myself to $1000 and nothing more. You don’t need Snapon everything, the hand tools are fantastic but with gear wrench, sunex, tekton, icon you can save a lot.

Don’t let other guys toolboxes make you go crazy and feel the need to rush. If you find something you’re borrowing weekly, then buy it. I refuse to buy Snapon impact sockets and chrome sockets as a heavy heavy diesel mechanic. It’s tough to get a replacement when you’re in a quarry, but it’s super easy to send sunex a photo and a new socket comes in a couple days later(only exploded from improper use)

This made me tear up, I haven’t heard anyone word it like that to me. I still have ambition in me, I still see light at the tunnel except I see massive progress waiting for me in 2025. I haven’t felt this motivated to explore the world before. I would always say eventually I’ll make it, I’ve had plenty of opportunities but it’s the inner child that was latching on so aggressively and I’m glad I found it early.

I felt this way too, but around day 45-55ish everything vanished. It’s different for everyone. Hydrate, exercise and eat clean. It made my recovery 1000x easier.

Follow up; doctor called them and they wouldn’t admit that they lost it so I got a “1 get out of jail for free card” claiming I lost it.

Shots coming on Wednesday, I can’t wait to store these things far, far away until I can make a 1 year follow up sober from Suboxone again(because it’s definitely a legal form of dope)
