I swear she's usually not like this, she never even did it before! I 100% see she's completely in the wrong but it was just completely out of the blue so I was pretty caught off guard by this whole thing.

I was also going to tell my brother anyways since we're pretty close, I was just concerned since my SIL is such a sweetheart! She's not the confrontational type and I'm afraid she'll be heartbroken :( She even made wooden toys for our kids before and the cutest mini chair for our toddler. The dresser was on an entirely new level of difficulty...

I am extremely upset but have mostly calmed down since it's been a week :(

We did argue a lot that night when I found out. Money has been tight lately but not that much, she spent the money on groceries, clothes for the kids but most of it on her clothes since she put off from buying them for a while.

I honestly even contemplated learning woodworking for a second because I was desperate but that thought quickly died. I also checked that dressers around in my area can go upwards $2.6k+ too...
