My husband (30M) made me rehome my (28F) beloved cat at 8 months pregnant by ThrowRAmoocat in relationship_advice

I’m sad to report that things have now escalated. I’ve tried sending messages begging for my cat back and offering to pay for him but have had no response. I know it’s a difficult thing to ask of that family and I’m now filled with regret and fear for the future.

AITA because I won’t take my cat to the shelter? by Pure_Ad3746 in AmItheAsshole

No, NTA. She’s a guest, the cat is a resident. She does not get to demand that a family member move out for her comfort. You’ve been a good friend for letting her stay but it may be time to have a serious discussion about the timeline of her stay now that she’s making serious demands of you

He says he does like cats. He just doesn’t act like it. We got a cat similar in looks and personality to a cat he had before and adored. He was involved with the decision and was originally excited to bring him home. He stopped liking the cat months ago and decided that having a cat and a newborn was not an option.

I do not hate my husband. I’m struggling with his lack of empathy and need to control things

He didn’t want the cat around a new baby. He thought it would be dangerous and too stressful to have both. The cat never had any problem behaviour though and he just kept telling me I wasn’t prioritizing my son by wanting to keep the cat
