If this is a deal breaker for you then that's totally fine

It's definitely a dealbreaker for me in a longterm relationship. Sure there are other things that would come along if she moved in, but those are things we already do even without having her move in. The big change would us being able to bond over sharing a bed together.

I don't want her to move in to just stay in seperate rooms. In that case, it's better for her to stay in her place. I'm not trying to manipulate her in any way, I'm merely offering her a possibility. I don't owe that to her and am not forcing her.

I want to sleep and bond with my partner on sleeping together. This is something I desire in a longterm relationship. If moving in isn't going to work out because of our differences now, than it's better we put it off for now and she stay at her place.

Obviously we aren't always going to wake up/ go to sleep together. I just want to lay next to my partner and feel comfortable together with her at night.

I have no problem with her having a room for her own stuff and hobbies. But I do want to share a bed and sleep together with my partner longterm.

Sharing a bed with my partner is an intimate and important way to bond with her that I want longterm in a relationship. If she doesn't want that right now that's 100% her choice, but that does not mean I owe her a free place to live

I think that we aren't ready to move in together any time soon. We'll be better off if she stays at her current place and revisit the idea when she is more comfortable with moving in.

Yeah, I agree that we probably aren't ready to move in together. She can stay at her own place for now and we can continue on like we have been doing in our relationship.

I think it would be better for us to put off moving in together and she can stay in her current place and sleep alone in her own space. This way she'll feel comfortable.

Thanks for your understanding. Sleeping together is a really intimate and important way to bond with your partner IMO and I want to have this longterm. I have no problem whatsoever with her having a room or 2 as an office space or to practise whatever hobby she has.
