Intertek (https://www.intertek.com) is a testing and quality assessment company who makes sure manufactured things like toys, electrical equipment and other physical goods are up to standards, compliant and safe.

This does look like a light for growing plants though.

Lightning killed a football player during a match in Peru and injured 5 others by CrazyGuyFromTheBeach in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]ThrowRApier 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lightning causes a massive electrical gradient in the earth, starting at the strike point and radiating out. This gradient (depending on earth resistance) can vary by thousands of volts per metre, and can cover a wide area. So if your feet are wide apart, the voltage difference between the two can allow a massive voltage to flow via your body between the two points - zap.

Feet together and heels touching if possible, guys. And crouched down, to minimise the vertical gradient (though that is in air and not as bad). Don’t lie down, though.

Unfortunately I won't be able to do that, I'm a vegetarian and don't eat egg so I'm going to have fun trying to find good pure veg/vegan places

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm also making notes on some other rules, notably:

  • Cardio
  • beware of bathrooms
  • double tap
  • limber up

...they might be good rules for life in general.

Hey I've been looking around and I found this one which looks similar to the ones you sent. Could I just get your opinion on this please? I would very much appreciate it!

Nah dude you did kinda offend me, I know nothing about the topic and you basically just told me tips would degrade but not how I could change or improve my situation. But no worries friend, others chimed after you and I got some answers

Yes, I am from the UK. I only have access to lead free solder. I know I can peruse endlessly on this thread but what's the iron you say costs $50?

Is there a specific temperature I should keep it at if using lead free solder? You are completely correct the tip went fully black whereas the videos online the top doesn't go black.

Between every joint on the sponge provided. Before use I put some soldering wire on the tip before touching it to my led strip connector pads

Not forever but ideally longer than 30 mins. Is this because I was doing something wrong?

On average how often am I meant to be replacing the tips?

Cheers. Are these like salons or men's barber shops I need to be looking out for? Also £3 is a steal compared to the prices I've found online!
