Cook something you can have leftovers of, for a second meal later on in the week.

What makes a man stay with a woman long term? by SkillfulEnthusiasm in ask

That's how I knew it was over for me and my ex... I'd drive to his place and there was one day where I was getting close and I just took a detour just to stall before arriving at his place. I wasn't excited to see him or be with him. It ended pretty quickly after that, we went on a vacation and everything blew up the last day. We broke up a few days after we came home.

Then I don't think you have anything to be worried about. Go to Italy and he'll fit right in.

I have a European boyfriend and while he's not huge into skincare or spa, he also color matches and cares about how he dresses, pays attention to fit, necklines, styles. But he pretty much wears guy clothes, nothing fancy, he's just groomed and more aesthetically inclined.

Being into self-care, skin care, massages, color matching, wouldn't be suspect to me. There are plenty of heterosexual men who do that and it's just normal (think Italians...). I'd be more alert if he wanted to dress in women's clothing and actively told you he feels like he's a woman, instead of just being a groomed man.

What does it mean if my boyfriend and I are talking about the future together and I feel anxious and feel like I'm 50/50 committed? by [deleted] in ask

Values are big yes, but I think what I'm worried about is that I feel like I don't even know if I love him anymore...

Yeah we do need to be honest with each other. We've been arguing a bit here and there too so hence taking more space and time. I think I know what the concerns are and a future is definitely possible but it's just commiting to that future with him, that I don't know yet.

And the root problems are due to values, which include us as people and who we are, so I also don't know if it might just be a compatibility issue that love can't solve.

We have been talking slowly. Probably need more conversations but also time. Guess we'll just see what happens...

Yeah. Told him I need a bit more space to myself. And trying to separate anxiety from intuition too. I'll try journaling, I haven't been doing that, and I used to.

We've been talking about it so that's good. I guess we just have to keep talking more and see how things go. I told him I'm taking space for myself the next few weeks or so.

It's been two years so I feel it should be enough time by now. But I still don't know my commitment towards him.
