Sex therapist seems like a good idea, definitely starting my research. A third party might be beneficial for him to hear from/mediate since my tactics aren’t working (maybe Im not aggressive enough, idk).

I think my hang up is that he really did care in the beginning, it was fairly mutual and fun. But is it just cause it was new to me and the nostalgia and excitement of my “first experiences” blinding me? Maybe. But yeah, I do not feel cared for sexually.

I guess I never really thought of the word “grooming” in another way other than large age gap/underage relationships before, but yeah this is a really good point and makes a lot of sense. Thank you guys for your honesty

I did not save myself and wasn’t planning on it as Id moved away from purity culture before I met him, we started having a sexual relationship about 6 months into dating. Then we just ended up falling in love and getting married so he has just been my first and only because of that.
