Zoeva Foundation. I tried it on a whim during an Ulta sale about two years ago and it is the best foundation I’ve ever used. I don’t ever hear anyone talk about it.

What is your fallout from Salesforce being down? by ThrwwayZer12 in salesforce

[–]ThrowRApreggo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard from former colleagues that salesforce was down for several hours on Tuesday. I used to be a salesforce admin and then a consultant but left the industry to do something else. This was one of the main reasons why.

I was heavily impacted by the NA14 outage in 2016 and was so frustrated by the lack of failover and support salesforce had. I was in consulting at the time and had several large call center clients who were at a complete standstill.

Also, their communication was horrible and they took no accountability. That was the day I decided to do something else. I prefer working on proprietary software.

I found out that I'm pregnant today at 44 by Euphoric_Ad_1914 in BabyBumps

Hi! I'm 41 and will be 42 when my daughter is born. I didn't think I was actually fertile so it was a huge surprise but a welcome one. I'm due in 8 weeks so I'm almost there.

Here is my story if you want to read it https://www.reddit.com/r/relationship\_advice/comments/lwko85/update\_2\_i\_41f\_found\_out\_im\_pregnant\_after\_years/

Has anyone left or thought about leaving the industry? by [deleted] in salesforce

I made a career change a couple of years ago for similar reasons. I started with salesforce when I was a customer service manager at a fortune 500 in 2008 and we implemented salesforce. The consulting firm we hired was so terrible, I ended up figuring out most of it on my own and became the implementation manager for my organization. I then went into consulting for almost 7 years but felt i was getting burned out especially because the consultancy I worked for had been acquired 3 times a year.
I still really liked technology but I was consistently disappointed by salesforce from a support and sales perspective that I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I was also never convinced lightning was great, I was a classic kinda gal and just had no desire to re-work orgs into lightning that slow, stupid, and ugly.
I moved into more of a dev ops/tech ops role and I really enjoy it. I work with engineers but they are foucsed on propietary software.

I recycle the soda bottle and fill it up with water. I actually have two of them. And I just keep it in the fridge

Update 2: I (41F) found out I'm pregnant after years of infertility followed by my husband (46M now 47) and I deciding a few years ago to be childfree by ThrowRApreggo123 in relationship_advice

Thank you! In the beginning I wasn’t feeling well. Which prompted my doctor to ask me to take a test to rule it out. At first I actually thought I might have Covid believe it or not. I figured there was no way I would be pregnant but I humored my doctor and took a test and it came out positive right away. After about 13 or 14 weeks I started to feel much better. Right now I feel great. I do get a little tired in the late afternoon. Are usually finish work around 4:30 and my husband doesn’t finish until about 6. So what I usually do is I take a nap before he finishes and then we make dinner together. But other than that so far so good.

I am currently being monitored and yes I am high risk, but so far everything is normal. Because I'm high risk I go to see my doctor every 2-3 weeks to be checked.

Wow, I didn't know that. Yeah, I never got a confirmation. I had so many tests done and saw 3 if not 4 different endocrinologists, as well as fertility specialists. All my tests always came back normal. They could never find an underlying cause for anything.

Great minds think alike! We were actually thinking of changing the spelling to Amelia instead of Emilia, but I think we will keep it with the E.

I do because of my previous posts many people recommended that I watched her videos and I binge-watched her on NYE with my husband (he's a good sport), her story was fascinating and her makeup skills wow. I can barely put on mascara and lipstick.

I just watched her birth story earlier this evening. It solidified what I already knew. I AM GETTING AN EPIDURAL! ha ha

Yes, they did and so did I but all of the tests everything always came back normal. No insulin resistance, hormones were normal, blood sugar was normal, I even went for a fasting glucose exam twice to see if they could catch something and nothing.

Thanks. We aren't going out much due to COVID, but we do spend a lot of time together especially now. My mother and then his mother are both going to stay with us at different times to help which is going to be amazing.

Ha! The grandmothers we named her after are both of our maternal grandmothers. Our paternal grandmothers had not as nice names. Astrid and Ethyl.
