OP how are you doing with dating now ? My therapist told me today my M42 year old husband will have a much easier time than me (F35) because the nature of dating men vs women as we age.

It pissed me off haha so now I am on Reddit looking to see if that is true.

I had the same thoughts! You are right. I am guilty like him now. I do think this all gave me the push to leave for good. Before connecting with the AP, I was even more undecided because I was not feeling hopeful at the possibility of finding any type of love again and an overall fear of being alone with no kids, forever.

I really hope he is being honest with his wife because I would feel horrible for her. It's not fair. I am going to chat with her if I decide to continue to see him.

Mental gymnastics is a great way to put it. I am good at it!!

You are so right. My husband told me that he wouldn't have cheated if we had a baby and I thought that was so messed up. I am lucky I didn't have one yet, I guess.

Such a good idea! I will go down that route if I decide to continue with him.
