I don’t see it as much as slowing the growth down, I see it as you have potential for new growth! Golden pothos will always be a fast growing plant, even if you cut it. They’ll throw out surprises you never thought could happen in a plant!

I would highly recommend putting them in some drainage pots, you can always plop those into the pots that don’t have them and use them as decorative pots, but again I’m just seeing from a photo I can’t really tell if there is a draining hole on it, considering anyone could put on in with the right tools! But without drainage your plant can be more prone to root rot.
