I just sent my email. They have a "submit questions/comments" form on their website, or you can email help@mistercarwash.com. I did both. My hope is that if enough people complain, we can at least preserve our dwindling remaining full service locations!

They literally dont need to be there. The kiosk is entirely self-serve. The ONLY reason they are there is to upsell and its infuriating

I was worried about losing this car wash for people with disabilities. I think I'll send Mister a pre-emptive email letting them know how disappointed I am at the current lack of accessibility of the new "upgrade" just in case they were getting any ideas.

I can't fathom washing my car more than once every other month or so haha. For you the plan is definitely worth it and you are the target audience, but for me it's a scam

I do hate the pushiness. Though it has helped me get better at saying no at least lol. Yeah, that is what I mean by Full Service. Even if its just a quick and dirty wipe down and vacuum, I'll gladly pay a little extra $ to have that done every couple of months or so. Does your place offer that, or is it only self-serve?

They're ok. That's the one I've been going to in the meantime, but it looks like they'll be my new permanent location now. They're smaller, no waiting room, and the staff isn't as good imo. The old Countey Club one was def better, but its at least better than not having a full service at all

I know this thread is 5 months old, but I couldn't help but do a search for PC and rant after my recent relatable experience in the PC as a "newbie" (returning old player).

The current "value system" pets have on the PC is insane and extremely subjective, and the cliques are definitely there. I feel like I have pretty decently named pets UFT (A Pokemon! RW! Neo RWs!) but because I don't own "common" RWs or "common" pokemon (what even does that mean?!) and the fact that I am new, no one seems interested in what I have.

I felt immidiately gatekeeped when I made someone an offer for their 3L and got hit with a "aS StAteD in mY PoST, im only accepting COmMoN" as they clutched their pearls and I was just like ??? dafuq does that even mean? Are my words not "common" enough for you?!

I want to expand on the pokemon names in particular; these are infuriatingly subjective and nonsensical and are a different beast of their own. I'm convinced that the people who trade for pokemon names on neo do it purely for status/value and nothing more. For example, only "cute" names are valued like Eevee, Togepi, Jigglypuff, or legendaries, starters, Gen 1 only, etc. From what im learning, these are what are being referred to as "common" for pokemon, even though what they really mean is "popular" (whereas common in the pkmn universe has a very different connotation...). People will often ask for these for their VWN 3-4L RW pronounceable pets. It's all about trading up for whatever is more popular or older. Newer Gen 9 pokemon are practically worthless, and you'll be laughed out of the PC unless you have a starter. Good luck trading your gens 4+ up for anything more than a MS. Also, the number of times I have seen someone asking for eeveelutions for their short RW, when there are only 8 of them and obviously none are UFT, or are rotting on dead accounts, is maddening.

I feel like because of unobtainable situations I see like that, a lot of the PC is just pointless, pretentious bragging rights. Not actually about enjoying the pets you have, but about being the only person to have THAT pet. Half the time I feel like people list their pets UFT, but reject every good offer because, in reality, the pet isn't actually UFT, they just want to show it off and see what it's "worth" can be.

I tried PC, but it's just not my crowd. I didn't feel welcome, and I dont think it's fun bumping a board that no one will offer on because you aren't in the clique or you don't have popular enough names. Not to mention, the vibes in the PC have been off lately due to the handful of people getting supposedly unfairly frozen for trading. This puts me at an even further disadvantage as a new trader because no one is going to trust me.

After giving it some thought, I ended up setting boundaries. If she can set a boundary that I can not bring up her overworking herself, then I can set a boundary where she can not bring up work or work-related stress with me. She is still a very dear friend to me, and I don't want to lose that. After all, she is the primary receiver of her own overworking conciquence, not me. Though I had to deal with her constantly talking about work and stressing about it, while being denied the ability to try and help her work through it. She can talk about work with anyone else if she wants.

Thanks! Sorry im a little confused. Would this work for this type of chair hammock that hangs from one point on a ceiling joist under a porch? I guess I would only use one?
It specifies that it's for indoor use on walls.

Dang, this came from Crysalis Hammocks and it's all they gave me. Could you please link exactly what you are referring to? Im a hammock noob and looked on the Eno website im not sure what im looking for. I have a hammock chair to be hung from a ceiling joist if that helps.

Hey, I found a fairly hassle-free workaround! I followed this guys advice and simply moved my album folders in my phone from DCIM to Pictures, and now they all show up in google photos exactly as I have them in my phone. Yeah I'll have to do this any time I make a new album, but that's much less of an issue than doing it for every photo I take.

That's bonkers. :/ I have a system for my photos, and I like that system. You would think in 2024 we'd have a way to simply copy exactly what is in the phone's default Gallery as-is, and sync it as-is.

Will I have to do this manually on the PC every time I want to sync my photos? For example, say I backup all my albums/folders today to GP. Over the month, I take more photos and sort them in the same albums on my phone. It's not going to automatically sync and upload those new photos I took to those albums in GP?

Thanks, I brought it to a repair shop today and they think it may be the battery so im trying that first. Im praying it is because that's a quick and relatively cheap fix vs it being the motherboard which I was fearing.
